MARINA

The Al Larson Marina, Terminal Island complex, is located at 1046 Seaside Avenue, Terminal Island, California, immediately southeast of Al Larson Boat shop, Los Angeles, Berth 258. The marina and mooring buoy/anchorage locations are leased from the Los Angeles Harbor Department.

The marina has 128 slips with vessel sizes ranging from 20 feet to 50 feet. All are equipped for shore power, water and telephone service. Each slip has its own dock box.

Restrooms with showers as well as a laundry facility are on site and are offered to all marina tenants. A limited number of storage sheds are available on a monthly basis. The marina store offers sandwiches, chips, candy, beer and soda.

MOORING BUOY

Adjacent and southeast of the marina slips are 17 rental moorings/anchorages.

A mix of power/sail, commercial/pleasure vessels up to 50 feet are currently renting the various cans. The separation scheme of one mooring from another as well as from the breakwater and seawall appears adequate for a maximum vessel size of 50 feet.

SLIP MARINA

Al Larson Marina consists of a network of floating docks and fingers which form mooring slips for recreational powerboats, sailboats, and yachts. There are a total of 128 rental slips.

LOCATION

Al Larson Marina is located at the entrance to Fish Harbor, a subsidiary of the Los Angeles harbor, berth 258. Our street address is 1046 Seaside Avenue, Terminal Island, California with the Al Larson Boat Shop located to the southeast.

From Long Beach or the 710 Freeway

Travel west towards San Pedro on Ocean Boulevard.
Exit at Ferry Street and turn left (do not enter the Vincent Thomas Bridge).
Turn right onto Terminal Way.
Turn left at Seaside Avenue and continue to Al Larson Boat Shop which will be on your left
hand side.

From San Pedro or the 110 Freeway

Travel east towards Long Beach on the Vincent Thomas Bridge (47).
Exit Ferry Street and turn left.
Turn right on Terminal Way.
Turn left at Seaside Avenue and continue to Al Larson Boat Shop which will be on your left hand side.

MANAGEMENT & STAFF

Our full time friendly on-site manager is Jan Munyon, 310-832-0526. Duties include slip/mooring rentals, vessel inspection prior to slip rental, collection of rental fees, maintaining marina records and running the small store which sells sandwiches, hot dogs, soda, etc.
